How To Increase Swap Space in windows 7.
Swap space or virtual memory is a method in which hard disk space can be used as extra memory on your machine to load or run programs. If the current physical RAM is low, the swap space will be used to run extra processes. The main advanatge of swap space is that it allows the operating system to keep some physical RAM free for running process.
Follow the below steps to increase swap space in Windows 7
Step:1 Open System by clicking the Start button, click on Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then click on Systems shown below :
Click on System and Security
Click on System.
Step:2 In the left pane, click on Advanced system settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Step:3 On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click on Settings as shown below
Step:4 Click on Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click on Change.
