Video DownloadHelper is a plugin for firefox web browser. For Linux Firefox browser, this plugin is used to download videos from web sites like Youtube, dailymotion, yahoo, DreamHost and many more. Linux Video DownloadHelper works same as Internet download manager (IDM).
Step by Step installation of Firefox plugin Video DownloadHelper
Open the link given below.

Now click on + Add to Firefox button as shown below image.
Video DownloadHelper plug in will start downloading & automatically integrated with Firefox as shown below image.
Now click on Install Now button.
Video DownloadHelper is ready to download videos. Now restart your firefox & open youtube.com, download any videos of your choice…as explained in below images.
Now i want to download a movie from you tube. When movie will start buffering to play, you will see that video DownloadHelper icon will get activated. Click on Video DownloadHelper icon you will see a list of videos clips to download of different video qualities. Now click on + button to add your video to download list as shown images.
Now click on Download to save your video on your Desktop or Laptop hard drive.
